Boy's Bathroom

Mark redid our bathroom last summer.  It was a mess!  The walls were yucky, the floors a mess, the toilet didn't flush without the help of you dumping a bucket of water in as you held the handle, the closet opened right up to the basement below (and I'm scared to even go in the basement!!!  spiders, mice, snakes,,, YUCK!!)-- to put it mildly, I hated it!  I'm so thankful for an adventurous husband.  He gutted the room out to the studs.  The walls had old newspaper in them as insulation.    We decided to decorate it with a boyish theme.  What fun!

Since today is so hot, I decided to put a stitchery together that I got while with my Mom last week.  We stopped at a fun antique store and looked and looked.  So funny to see things I remember as a child or going to my Grandparent's and seeing them at their home and now being sold as an antique!  Am I really that old?!?!?

The stitchery was in a box and not framed.  That's easy enough,,, although I don't enjoy framing as I'm not good at it.  It was $5 but 1/2 off so I got it for $2.50!!  I love it!

It looks fun with the other antique figures my Mom has gotten me for the boy's room.
